Khrome Werks 4.5″ HP-Plus Slip-On Mufflers w/ Race Tip
For 2017-Newer M8 Touring Models
Khrome Werks designed the 4.5″ HP-Plus slip-on mufflers to deliver performance, style, and sound for M8 Touring models. When used with a factory catalytic converter–equipped head pipe, these mufflers meet 50-state emissions compliance.
These mufflers have been dyno tested and show measurable performance gains. Riders can expect up to a 12% increase in torque and a 7% increase in horsepower. As a result, throttle response improves and power comes on harder when you roll it on.
In addition, the HP-Plus mufflers produce the signature Khrome Werks authoritative tone. The sound stays deep and aggressive while avoiding harsh, high-frequency noise.

🔧 Baffle Insert Descriptions
Khrome Werks 202708P Performance Insert
This insert recovers torque across the power curve without sacrificing high-end horsepower. It slightly reduces overall exhaust volume. Riders typically use this insert in high-performance builds, such as 124″ and 128″ big-bore engines, where sound levels are naturally higher.
Khrome Werks 202711P Ripper Insert
The Ripper insert uses a 2.25″ straight-pipe design with a bolt-in flange. It effectively turns the muffler into a straight pipe. As a result, even slip-on mufflers installed behind a catalytic converter become extremely loud and aggressive.
Khrome Werks 202712P Louvered Insert
This insert increases low-end torque while maintaining a strong exhaust note. However, it slightly reduces top-end horsepower. It also alters the tone, producing a deeper sound similar to Rinehart or RC-style mufflers.
Khrome Werks 202713P Decibel Reducer
This insert focuses strictly on sound reduction. It lowers exhaust volume to California-legal levels and complies with the SAE J2825 sound test, which California uses to determine acceptable noise output.
