The standard shift pattern is the same as stock. In addition, the N1 shift pattern places neutral down with 1–6 up. Alternatively, the N1 reverse pattern features all downshifting and is designed for racers.
Built to take high-horsepower abuse found in late-model H-D performance applications, this transmission also provides elegant shift precision.
Transmission Configurations
GrudgeBox – Straight 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gears, designed and geared for performance buffs, racers, and speed-focused riders seeking negligible power loss.
Additionally, all gears are straight cut for negligible parasitic power loss, which provides maximum power transfer to the rear wheel. Furthermore, wide-ratio gearing supports heavier performance applications.
As a result, this transmission is built for aggressive take-offs and long distances at above-average speeds. For example, there is an approximate 250 RPM drop at higher highway speeds (around 80 mph).
