Cycle Solutions Inc. designs high-performance throttle bodies for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. If you want more power, upgrading the factory throttle body is one of the most effective improvements you can make.
The stock M8 throttle body measures only 55mm and uses a plastic plenum. Over time, that plastic can flex, and in addition, high engine heat may cause it to warp or melt.
As a result, airflow becomes inconsistent and performance drops. Unfortunately, many riders only discover this issue after removing their air intake.
Fortunately, the CSR 70mm throttle body eliminates these problems. Because of the larger bore, airflow increases immediately and throttle response improves.
These benefits become even more noticeable with Stage 1 or Stage 2 cam upgrades. In other words, the engine can finally breathe as it should.
