Description
The Baker Drivetrain 730-67 Compensator Kit improves durability, lubrication, and overall performance in Twin Cam Harley-Davidson engines. Baker designed this compensator to operate quieter and smoother than the factory unit.
Unlike stock compensators, this kit uses proven pre-2007 cam lobe geometry. In addition, a patent-pending circular oil trough directs primary oil straight to the cam lobe area. As a result, the compensator receives better lubrication and experiences less wear over time.
This design helps reduce noise while improving engagement during starts and gear changes. It also increases reliability in both stock and performance riding conditions.
The 730-67 compensator fits 2007 and newer Twin Cam Harley-Davidson models. However, some motorcycles require additional parts for proper installation.
Important Fitment Notes
-
2006 Dyna models require a stator retrofit (HD Part #30017-07).
-
2010 to mid-2010 Touring models may need a late-style rotor (HD Part #30041-08A).
You can check compatibility by inspecting the rotor through the derby cover.
If the compensator spring cup is on the outside of the rotor, an upgrade is required.
Kit Includes
-
34-tooth compensating sprocket
-
Motor extension shaft

This Baker Drivetrain compensator is an excellent upgrade for riders who want smoother operation, improved longevity, and dependable performance in their Twin Cam Harley-Davidson.
