Description
This D&D Exhaust system gives you two baffle options, so you can dial in both sound and performance to match your build. Watch the video below to hear the difference — then decide what fits your riding style best.
First, the 2½” Core Vortex Wrapped Baffle works extremely well on stock displacement engines up to 114″. It delivers strong performance while keeping the tone controlled and refined.
On the other hand, the Big Bore Baffle is built for larger displacement setups. If you’re running a Stage 4 114″, 117″, or an aftermarket 120″+ build with the right cam and proper tune, this is where things really wake up.
According to D&D’s Chief Engineer, riders consistently see noticeable mid- to high-range horsepower gains on modified engines. In fact, properly matched cam and tuning combinations make a major difference in how this system performs.
Now, let’s talk sound. The Big Bore Baffle is loud — really loud. Because we’re a performance-based company, we always recommend the setup that makes the best power for your combination. However, if maximum volume is what you’re after and you’re willing to give up a small amount of efficiency, the Big Bore option absolutely delivers that aggressive, race-inspired tone.
What’s Included with the M8 Billet Cat Full System
Not only does the M8 Billet Cat system look incredible, but it also comes complete and ready to install. Specifically, you get:
-
Heat shields
-
New exhaust gaskets
-
Bolt kit
-
Your selected baffle
-
Quality flanges and gaskets (no need to purchase separately)
As a result, installation stays straightforward and hassle-free.
Additionally, the 4″ muffler housing provides a clean, performance-driven look while increasing low-end torque and overall horsepower.
For tuning flexibility, D&D includes both 18mm and 12mm O₂ bungs. Therefore, this system works seamlessly with wideband auto tuners like ThunderMax AutoTune modules and Dynojet AutoTune systems.
Where It Really Comes Alive
While this exhaust performs well on stock setups, it truly shines once you upgrade the cam. After a proper cam install and tune, the tone deepens dramatically and the bike pulls harder through the mid-range.
That’s why we offer proven cam upgrade packages right here on our website. In addition, we install cam chest upgrades from our show truck at major events. So, if you want instant gratification and stress-free cam selection, we’ve got you covered.
The sound clip below features this system paired with a T-Man T216 (475 lift) cam upgrade — and you can hear the difference immediately.
