New Red Shift RS588 Cam for Milwaukee-Eight® Engines
The new Red Shift 588 grind is one of our biggest power cams for highly modified M8 engines. This Red Shift 588 cam was chosen for the Traveling Tall MUSCLE 128 Stage IV project to provide a strong, powerful Torque Curve, while providing exceptional Horsepower up to 7,000 RPM.
All Red Shift Cams are designed to enhance the unique cylinder head layout of the Milwaukee-Eight® engine to provide each engine builder with the best valve train dynamics.
The RS 588 will perform well on pump gas for engines with a compression range of 11.7- 12:1. Higher compression engines should use the appropriate racing fuel grade.
The Red Shift RS588 is designed to provide maximum lift range for a conventional performance valve spring used with the stock 1.6 rocker ratio. Contact Zippers Support for a special valve spring if you plan to use this cam with a higher ratio rocker arm.
