The BAKER 630-67K Compensator Kit features improved function, quieter operation, and extended durability over the stock factory configuration. These improvements were achieved by merging the tried-n-true pre-2007 cam lobe geometry with a patent-pending circular oil trough that channels primary lubricant into the cam lobe region.
Some motorcycles may require additional parts for proper installation. 2006 Dyna models will need to be retrofitted with a stator (Par Number 30017-07) purchased from a Harley Dealership.
All 2007-2010 Harley FLH/FLT Touring, Softail and Dyna Models have an early factory compensator that use a rotor that has an integral compensator spring cup. This style must be retrofitted with a newer rotor (part number 30041-08A that can be purchased from a Harley Dealership.
Please note that some (not all 2011 FLH/FLT, Softail and Dyna models) also have this earlier compensator spring cup. You will need to visually inspect your motorcycle to know if your 2011 model needs to be upgraded. See our image showing the rotor style that needs replaced.
